One Piece, Eiichiro Oda's worldwide famous creation is up and running with both its manga and anime for more than 20 years and with no doubt is one of fans' favorite series.
Very happy to see as a dub only watcher (for shounen shows) but honestly just a drop in the bucket. Hope this means dubbing is ramping back up.
My guy, I'm all for dubs, I love dubs, I can name every actor in the English one piece dub. But you're killing yourself waiting for these dubs. Not even advocating dub vs sub, just for the sake of continuing the adventure, I recommend going on with the subs. Once you get passed around 630 you won't want to be waiting years to keep going. Shit gets crazy!
My only concern is how many episodes will they be releasing this year? The so called 12 episodes they got out rn, that's a laughable amount after ghosting for almost 3 years and at the rate of slow turtle that funimation is that'd be around 45 episodes we were jipped. Along with this there is the sad fact that a bundle of episodes a year will never cut it, they will literally be at this for 35+ years before they are caught up and that's going by this bundle of episodes a year shit. I am planning on putting out a video talking about the release of the new episodes and the calculations of how long the series will be taking to dub it if they continue the way I mentioned as well as other ways.
It's about time they sped it up, I know and I understand that they also dub other properties but when they gained the dubbing rights they went ridiculously fast with its process to set rights where wrongs were done by what I call the 'Forbidden Dub' (we all know what company I'm talking about) and then, it suddenly slowed so much down to the point there was a hiatus for so long, which as a fan not wanting to be spoiled was so annoying to try to avoid them, I just hope that they keep up the pace like this as it might bring us closer to the subbed version and thus maybe even weekly episodes if they get close enough with only being a few episodes behind, that would truly be amazing as we wouldn't have to worry about getting spoiled major things
What really gets to me is when they dub movies and one offs that are way in the future. Why do they dub things that are at least 100 episodes away? The people who watch subs have already seen it, and the people who watch dubs don't want the spoilers.
The anime adaptation is at its 900’s episodes and some fans prefer watching the English-dubbed version and during FunimationCon2020, Funimation declared the following bunch of English dubbed One Piece episodes would be in transit soon, yet now they have affirmed it will be sooner than anticipated as they have uncovered the discharge date for the following group of episodes. Already declaring an August discharge window during the current second cluster of named scenes, Funimation has now affirmed on their official site that Season 10 Voyage 2 will be accessible on advanced customer facing facades Microsoft TV and Movies, PlayStation Store, Amazon Video starting on August eleventh.
One Piece season 10 anime’s Voyage 2 incorporates episodes 588-600 of the Punk Hazard arc of the anime, yet sadly wo exclude episode 590 of the arrangement. This episode was a unique hybrid with Dragon Ball Z and Toriko, and subsequently won’t be remembered for the following cluster of dubbed episodes.
