Mask Danshi is , especially due to Keigo’s reactions to Tsuzuru’s amorous advances. This BL anime is both sweet and a bit steamy. Although it isn’t explicit, it’s full of sexual tension between the two main characters since Tsuzuru and Keigo have a very physical relationship; of course, there are also emotions involved, so it’s an interesting change of pace from other BL anime, in which the romantic part goes before the physical dimension of the relationship.
Yaoi is a popular genre, as it includes stories that do not shy away from the sexual aspects of male-to-male relationships. One of the staples of the genre is none other than Junjou Romantica: Pure Romance. This anime centers on the romantic relationships of three different same-sex couples.
Throughout its multiple different seasons, Junjou Romantica tells the stories of multiple different couples. You get a lot of that steamy sexual tension as well as the dominant-submissive relationships that are typical of yaoi anime.
The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window looks like it would be part of the “Love Through Sexual Assault” age of yaoi and shounen ai anime, but it is actually part of the new age of shounen ai romance anime where the characters are developed and not terminally horny.
That said, the art is good, but the animation is rather… sparse. Tight Rope is very clearly an advertisement for the manga series, which is classified as yaoi for its sexual content. The anime leaves that content out, however.
