Batgirl naked comic

I’m certainly not advocating a return of the Comics Code Authority. The Code was (and is) needlessly restrictive and draconian. There’s no reason why every comic published should have to meet that standard. The arrested-adolescent readers who really want to read Batgirl/Catwoman naked wrestling stories should get what they want, too. Not my cuppa tea, but I’m not going to say it shouldn’t be allowed. Honestly, I think the Code has long since outlived its minor usefulness and should be utterly abolished. The comics publishers of America need to replace it with something better, just like the movie studios did when it became clear that the Hays Code was needlessly restrictive, and like video game producers did before a blanket standard could be created or applied.

‘s new comic series might be planting the seeds for a romantic reunion with Batgirl. The relaunch of the DC Universe with DC Re has reinvigorated (or returned) many classic superhero couples. Green Arrow and Black Canary are together, Lois Lane and Clark Kent are married again and Catwoman is getting ready to say “I do” with Batman. Yet the relationship between Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson has been strangely left out in the cold.

Benjamin Percy, who interestingly began DC Re on Green Arrow and, has taken over Nightwing. From the outset it didn’t seem like Percy’s run would have much to do with Nightwing and Batgirl’s on-again and (mostly) off-again romance. Yet Nightwing #45 serves as proof that isn’t the case, opening with a confused Dick Grayson waking up to a very naked Barbara Gordon.

Obviously, the comic book adaptations can’t have people running around naked on every page, but luckily, Martians wear enough jewelry to cover key places. This means in Dynamite Entertainment’s Warlord of Mars and spinoff series Warlord of Mars: Dejah Thoris, the princess can be covered with a tiny loincloth and what appear to be golden nipple clamps. This has become Dejah Thoris’ standard dress code, played up for obvious cheesecake whenever possible.

Inside the Gotham City Hedonist Society, Batgirl is to take off all her clothes in order to gain entry and follow her nemesis. Everyone in the place is naked and getting handsy with each other. Barbara wades through the crowd, showing it all and hoping no one s a move on her. She starts a fistfight with Catwoman, gets the notepad, and creates utter chaos within the club. Batgirl is finally able to it out, with her costume, and a run for it.
