I originally was going to do an animation styled after Gameboy after the background test of the pallet, However, I didn’t want to work with the Gameboy native resolution (yet) so I took the assets and made it into a comic. I’m still messing around with Unity in between work and trying to move, but nothing really solid yet. Probably going to stick with animation, images and comics for now, though sprite work still interests me.

Try this thought experiment: Let’s say DC buys Image tomorrow and the rights to all of its reprints. From now until the expansion of our sun into the red giant that will burn Earth to ash, classic “Spawn” and “Walking Dead” collections will get a big ol’ Black Label label on ’em. That’s bad and dumb and a willful attempt to ignore a major force in comic book history.

If I can commission ghosts, I’m going to assume I can commission multiple ghosts and pay them well, so I’m going to get a m*****f****** all-star team on this book. On words, I want Jerry Siegel (the first writer of “Action Comics”) and Joe Simon (the co-creator of Captain America). For the art, I don’t think there’s anyone better in the great beyond than Jack Kirby (who is, of course, already familiar with working with Simon). I certainly won’t ask too much of them: simply the next superhero that can captivate pop culture for 50 years. It’ll have to be timeless and speak to the fundamental qualities we hope to possess as humans. Inspirational. And it’ll have to make buckets of money to pay off all the ghost lawyers.
