Neo-Tokyo, Japon, 2020. Sahashi Minato, étudiant de 19 ans vient de rater pour la seconde fois son examen d'entrée à l'université. Alors qu'il rentre chez lui, il rencontre Musubi, charmante jeune fille littéralement tombée du ciel. Celle-ci, attaquée par deux autre jeunes femmes aux pouvoirs surnaturels, est à la recherche de son Ashikabi. En effet Musubi est une Sekirei qui veut participer à un tournoi secret organisé par une étrange multinationale, la MBI, où doivent s'affronter 108 Sekirei et leur Ashikabi. Things calm down at the Izumo Inn (for the most part) as tensions rise for the MBI, and Sekirei and Ashikabi from all over Tokyo try to escape. Something big is surely set to happen. Meanwhile, Benitsubasa plots her revenge on Musubi.

It is a race of super-powered humanoids who are physically indistinguishable from humans with their similar genetic codes. The series is a romantic comedy and also revolves around the genres of Harem and supernatural. The term ‘Sekirei” was taken from a Japanese Wagtail bird.

Feathers is the term for individual episodes of the series representing the birds and the process of winging of Sekireis. Season 2 of ‘Sekirei’ consists of 12 episodes that center around the second stage of the battles The Sekirei’s plan.

Musubi was threatening Karasuba with the death of Minoto’s others Sekirei’s and later Karasuba will be defeated by Musubi. Everyone returns to their normal life after the destruction of MBI Towers and all the data was recovered by Seo who gets appreciation from Higa.

Meanwhile, the romantic relationship between Minato and Musubi will start provoking jealousy among other Sekirei’s of Minoto. But as soon as he discovers the truth about the Sekirei’s he starts to fall apart from Musubi which will lead to the huge complexity to defeat the villains in the series.
