The entire plot is given immediately in a forced exposition infodump scene. The main character’s tragic backstory was pretty stupid. This show tries to be so edgy and serious. It’d probably be a good time if it wasn’t trying to take itself so seriously. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so. here:

Oriha make a presentation in front of the security cameras when the leader is about to kill the host. This is a plan to drag out some of the terrorist and to make revenge for Aya, who was executed in the previous episode. Aya is Oriha’s number one rivals in pop idol but behind the scene they are close friends.

The episode ends as Oriha stand over the body of Aya, the executed pop idol and promise to herself that she will make a revenge on Wild Hunt and his men.

The episode gets more interesting when Chikage ordered to kill and Mikoto next which result to more exciting fight. Mikoto neutralizes Chikage as the ringleader climbs back onto the roof and signaled the sniper to fire. But he don’t know that the sniper already killed by other member of the Black Label.

The first episode of Triage X was made wisely to ensure the people to come back for more episodes since they knew that was a big part of the draw. With this episode, we actually get a decent bit of time at the hospital that helps to let the various characters just go about their normal days, which helps to humanize them and make them a bit more accessible.
