Hello. Does anyone want to talk about this film by Mamoru Hosoda and why the only thing I see on the Internet about it are just pictures of Belle's face, when there's so much more to it? I haven't seen any discussion about the issues of the film, the things that it adresses.
You as an adult is not the target audience of this film. I assume it's the current gen who grew up glued to social media and behind the anonymity a computer screen. Basically young kids who would ignore all the major plot holes and would buy the message of the movie easier by being convinced emotionally rather than through critical thinking
The visual commemorates the film’s grossing 890 million yen (more than $8.09 million) and more than 600,000 tickets sold in its opening weekend. The film premiered on July 16 in theaters in Japan, and also in 38 IMAX cinemas, being the first film produced by Hosoda to be screened in this type of theater.
You're partly right. I was confused too since it seems all movies coming out have streaming at the same time as theatrical release. But looking further, I found that paramount is releasing Snake Eyes (and some other films) as theater only for 45 days before doing streaming. But your statement that "movies are never available online right when they first premiere " is kind of off since Disney and WB have done done that very exact thing.
