Hunters specialize in a wide range of activities, including treasure hunting and cooking. They have access to funds and information that would otherwise be unavailable, allowing them to pursue their dreams and passions. Being a hunter, on the other hand, is a unique privilege that can only be obtained by passing a dangerous exam with a very low success rate.

Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga series Hunter Hunter (pronounced “hunter hunter”) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by him. Since March 1998, it has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shnen Jump, though the manga has been on frequent hiatuses since 2006. As of October 2018, its chapters had been collected in 36 tankbon volumes. Gon Freecss is a young boy who discovers that his father, who abandoned him when he was young, is a world-renowned Hunter, a licensed professional who specializes in fantastical pursuits such as locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, or hunting down lawless individuals. Gon sets out on a quest to become a Hunter and track down his father.

Gon meets other Hunters and encounters the paranormal along the way.
