Obviously a music anime will have music, however the way that the creators portray the classical music in this anime brings a welcome warm fuzzy feeling to your chest. By seeing Hino and the other characters being so drawn into their music, we feel a sort of kinship with them and our hearts, as viewers, react naturally. It is easy to identify with such a universal concept and La Corda D’oro portrays this admirably. Classical music is often misunderstood as boring and snobby; however, in this show we learn how it can be used to connect and portray emotion.

Generally, in reverse harems, the protagonist lacks character development; however, Hino Kahoko is different. As a viewer, we can identify with her because of her natural reaction to every situation. She is not dimwitted and she seeks to understand more about the world that has been introduced to her. Hino’s ability to make the best out of every situation is alluring and draws us to her as a character as we hope that we too can share her optimism. Hino is relatable in a world full of anime characters that are either overpowered or fall flat. Her refreshing nature allows for La Corda D’oro to be a truly great anime.
