Going back to our couple, I wonder how much of a hindrance will Takumi be. He's been checking Akane out since episode 1 (the track & field scene) and it's obvious he's interested in her as well. It amazes me a bit how many shots focuses indirectly on Akane's bum without being oversexualized (in a cute harmless way I might say)
It's interesting that in the extras there's either sex or physical contact implied in Setsuko & Nagahara's relationship, something kinda off based on how innocuous the series has been so far (I'm not complaining, I'm just putting it out there)
It's such a sweet and innocent show that it's just a treat to watch. It gave me that same feeling I had when I was watching Urara last season.
Oh wow. The dad is a refreshing change from the usual clique of parents in anime who keep hounding the kids to drop their hobbies and extracurricular activities and to stick their noses in their textbooks instead. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with the depiction of that kind of parents (it's actually rather realistic, given that such parents are typical in the Japanese and most Asian societies). But it's good to see another facet of parents who're willingly to be more considerate towards their children and give them the freedom to do what they like.
The show brings out the aspect of adolescence romance the best out of the number of romance I've ever seen. The characters never feel out of place. There are no unnecessary love triangles or any such it happens naturally. So surprisingly enough didn't receive as much attention most probably because it got swept under the hype of that season. but now that I re watched it after a long time i truly think it needs more attention. And of course i highly recommend it.

One thing I'd add is to avoid the dub. I'm not normally a sub v. dub elitist, most dubs are at least decent enough and preferences are preferences. But Tsuki Ga Kirei's dub manages to bungle one of its most climactic lines so badly that it sounds more like a parody of itself, and I wouldn't want that entire moment ruined for anyone watching it for the first time just because they seemingly sourced their dialogue from an early 2000s fan dub.
This was an amazing show. Although, the animation can keep people away and the lack of dialogue will make some people bored I feel those things don't matter if the story is telling amazing.
Before I get started on this one, I just want to make it clear that from now on until the site turns to shit, I’m going to be taking all of my images for these Let’s Watches from 9anime’s streams. I finally got motivated to try the site out and it’s actually really good if you don’t mind pissing off Miles. Since I’d rather not do that, I’m still going to watch these anime legally on the official sites – so continue to expect me being a week behind on
Now that that’s settled, let’s get started on this. I actually read Bobduh’s write-up of the fourth episode beforehand out of sheer curiosity, so I know that he liked the episode for its many small emotional moments. However, I doubt that’ll affect my judgment of the episode too much because A) he didn’t really explain what happened in the episode B) I think
