His Fukurou uniform consists of a white shirt worn over a black shirt, accompanied with a black belt, dark blue trousers and brown boots. He wears his Fukuou jacket over his shoulders like a cape. He also wears a black choker around his neck and is often seen carrying a sword in it’s sheath.
Hayato has a bright and outgoing personality with an unshakable sense of justice, and good leadership skills. He often gives a bad impression, due to the fact that he honestly talks about his thoughts. His is also a hot-blooded man who is also impatient on one side.

When Tsugumi went to visit the Yashiro family to call off the engagement, she was surprised to learn that he is her fiance. Hayato tells Tsugumi that he wanted her to fall in love and marry him as a person, as he was aware she only agreed to this marriage arrangement for the sake of saving her family from financial ruin. However, he agreed to call off the engagement for now, but vowed to not give up on her.
Akira often accompanies Hayato when they go patrolling around the city. His blunt personality can be compared to Hayato’s outgoing personality. They work well as partners when it comes to fighting and retrieving “cursed tomes”. Hayato was also initially angry when he found out Akira was the traitor in Fukurou, but forgave him after Akira helped him save
Plot: Tsugumi Kuze decides to get married to a man whom she doesn’t even know to protect her family’s glory but before she could get married her brother tries to commit a suicide in a mysterious fire holding an old book in his hand. The Imperial Library Information Assets Bureau – AKA (Fukuro) appears before Tsugumi telling that the book which her brother was holding is not a normal book but a Maremono. A kind of book which has a great influence on the reader. After listening to everything she decides to join the Fukuro and Moreover she has gained to ability to see the auras of these unusual books due to her brother’s accident.
This guy is nice but I feel half of the times he is in melancholic mood and his height is rather short compared to the other members of Fukuro.
After Fukurou is assigned a police liason, Tsugumi hits the town on her own, visiting the flirty shopkeep who rudely propositions her once again despite the fact she has no interest (though his weird fluffy pet Perry is a hell of an icebreaker). Hey guy, maybe tone it down a bit!
That night the police liasion informs Fukurou that Kagutsuchi is meeting on the eighth floor of a building in Ginza…but the building only appears to have six floors, not including the roof! Huh…
He joins Tokimiya, Hayato, Akira, and Hisui for a welcome banquet of sushi, and immediately Hayato and Shizuru start making preparations to stake their claim on the right to woo the newbie, with Hisui in the middle trying to keep things calm.
