Blood Of Zeus skyrocketed its way to Netflix's Top 10 in less than a week since its release. Will the success serve as a go signal for season 2?

In less than a week, the anime series managed to enter Netflix’s top 10 lists in different regions worldwide. Blood of Zeus made it to third in the US Top ten list, sitting next to The Queen’s Gambit and The Haunting Of Bly Manor, respectively.

Another question is who will lead the Gods of Olympus after Zeus sacrificed himself to save Hera from the giants’ wrath. After Zeus’ death, the Gods of Olympus are left without a ruler. 

Unless work for season 2 has already begun, we’re likely to wait until 2022 before seeing Blood of Zeus again. 

The series focuses on Heron, a part of the people living on Greece’s outskirts during a war between the Olympian gods and the Titans. Heron, who discovered that his father was Zeus, with the dark secrets of the past; it appears as the only hope for humanity to survive the struggle with the demon armies.

I just finished watching season 1 of Blood of Zeus just now on October 27, 2020. And Yeah the animation is great and the storyline added with the voice actors this must be the best anime on Netflix this year but it does not have enough episodes. The episodes are not much. I hope they release a season 2 of this anime Next year.

I binge-watched the entire season one with zero shame. Watching the eventual demise of Zeus’ & Hera’s relationship & her change from Queen to villainess, was entertaining & enthralling to watch. The way they tie the backstory to the present was perfect. As someone who was waiting for a Greek storyline, this made me happy! I hate that it’s only one season!

I found out why not an anime while I thought it wasn’t Japanese. However, I still liked the studio’s style, and I will also look at the different productions. Blood of Zeus is one of the anime I look forward to for season 2.
