Following the incident teased in the final moments of last week’s episode, the class rep finds herself in the hospital, having apparently been saved by Naruto. Boruto bursts in and (confusingly) claims responsibility for the incident, swearing once again that he will catch the person that hurt Sumire.

Boruto taking the blame for not being there to save the class rep feels like a stretch to say the least, but even more baffling is the show dedicating so much of the episode to the mail delivery/investigation plot seen in last week’s show. Some of the scenes felt like shot for shot remakes; I felt like I was watching a repeat. Boruto and co. do finally catch the culprit near the end of the episode, but even that pivotal scene feels like too little too late.

Usually I can find something to like in every episode of Boruto, but this episode had me asking myself: why do they feel obligated to tell this story? It certainly feels like they could have wrapped it up in a single episode, and stretching it across two weeks only serves to further expose the story’s weaknesses.

Boruto : Naruto Next Generations Episode 11 Spoilers! In the previous episode of Boruto, the episode concluded with a shot of Sumire Kakei (the class rep for Borutos classmates) on the ground with her clothes shredded and damaged.

The episode preview for next week is presented by a few shots that describe the mood of the episode. Majority of the dialogue is spoken by Naruto. Due to the tragedy of what happened at the Water Purification Center and Sumire’s accident, Naruto tells Boruto to stop interfering.

Welcome to our weekly episode review for the Boruto Naruto Next Generations anime! Today we will be breaking down and discussing the major events of this episode. Recapping from last weeks episode, Boruto’s determination to find Ghosts led him to a Konoha Postal Service delivery position. And from his careless behavior of delivery mail in a flashy manner, it ultimately led him to a path of failure to get to the next Ghost incident on time.

The Class Rep -Sumire, was injured at the Water Purification factory by the last ghost incident. Where we come to find out in episode 11 that her and her two other classmates were rescued by Naruto. Th episode begins and sets the scene inside of he Konoha Hospital where Sumire is surrounded by her classmates as well as Shino, the sensei.

Following the incident at the water purification plant, Sumire and her friends find themselves hospitalized, and Naruto tells his son to stop playing detective. However, he softens his stance on the issue after Shino speaks up on Boruto’s behalf. With their teacher’s tacit blessing, Boruto, Mitsuki, and Shikadai enlist the help of their classmates in tracking down the Ghost while completing their job shadowing assignment. Once the group is able to get a read on their foe’s patterns, they catch him/her/it in the act of possessing Komari, the village’s straight-laced postmaster. Although the villain’s true identity remains a mystery, the perpetrator’s face is hidden behind a mask that bears a strong resemblance to the one worn by ANBU members. While the rest of the group deals with the possessed Komari, Mitsuki pursues the masked figure into a sewer before strangely opting to let them go. The episode ends with an otherworldly ninja beast (which looks strikingly similar to the one Boruto summoned in episode 4) stating to no one in particular that “the negative chakra of the weak-hearted opens the door created by the Hashirama Cell and becomes the nourishment that will awaken Nue.”
