Crown of the deep green

One of my favorite scenes from Crown of the Deep Green. Lan rushes to greet Eus, after he won a territory war and He immediately turns what is a very normal sibling greeting into a scene of lovers…

Of course Yustaf would not go back home. His abusive step-mother, his cheating father, and his very changeable step-sister lives there. Damn, all of Young!Ran's outfits are stunning!

One of my favorite scenes from Crown of the Deep Green.

Lan rushes to greet Eus, after he won a territory war and He immediately turns what is a very normal sibling greeting into a scene of lovers reuniting, in front of their entire household staff.

" 'Seducing the Villain's Father' needs a few improvements. 'Seducing' is too strong of a word. This isn't some smut-filled romance, using 'Seducing' here will hurt our sales. 'Flirting' is better. Also, replace 'father' with 'dad'. I don't give a damn what the original Korean says, but 'Dad' is better here. Brevity is the soul of wit, after all"

"Mark Twain said 'Don't use a five-dollar word when a fifty-cent word will do.' That's why I'm changing "The Viridescent Crown" to "Crown of Deep Green".

"Viridescent" means "green colored", with connotations of being the color of plant greenery (as it shares the same Latin root as "Verdant"). However, "Viridescent" doesn't seem to be commonly used, so I can see why they changed it to "Deep Green", mainly for easier spelling and more mass-market appeal. The downside being that they lose the poeticness of the original title.

As for the series itself, I have no idea if it's any good or not. The premise is appealing. I like the idea of our protagonist being sucked into a story she personally wrote, especially a not-particularly-good story she wrote when she was 14. And I see a lot of potential for political intrigue, which I greatly like.
