This is going to be the start of a series of rants I will have about pairings I think should have a larger group of fans. The particular pairing of Takigawa Yoshino and Fuwa Mahiro took me by surprise when I noticed not many people picked up on it.I realized this when I went to look for fanfiction featuring this pairing and only found a small handful. I talked to someone once about this pairing and they couldn’t see it within the realm of possibilities and I was like ‘

I was wonderng about this too. It seems like a lot of people just didn’t see what was right in front of them. And they make one of the cutest yaoi couples! It seems kind of cliche, but Mahiro’s the big bad wolf and Yoshino’s the innocent bunny rabbit. Great post, really enjoyed it. And it’s true, for someone who says that they don’t care about him, Mahiro sure touches Yoshino a lot.

OOOOOOHHHHHHHH I am so glad I found this post! I recently watched the anime and I was LIKE Hfueskjbglrnvjanegj!!!! Instantly fell for this couple from the first episode when Mahiro touched Yoshino’s face… I wish that there were more fanfics n DJs!!!

I totally agree with you, like geez at the start of the episode 1 there’s already a scene between the two of them, when Mahiro notice the red smudge in Yoshino’s cheek and I was like kyaa!! In an instant my eyes became the yaoiMoeRadar!

Do you guys remember the episode where Mahiro thought that Yoshino was kidnapped.Like gosh! He totally freaks out and chase after the military’s vehicle. He even forget the wooden doll even though his focus should be murder Aika’s killer, but no he really panic and goes into a.rampage just to get Yoshino back!

Totally agree, ugh! I just watched it today until the 7th episode and since the 1st episode I was already thinking about how much chemistry flying between those two.

Actually I paused watching it because I couldn’t stand their relationships with Aika. Omg Yoshino, can’t you see that Mahiro cares about you? I’ve been thinking about why wouldn’t Yoshino tell the truth about him dating Aika, is he afraid that Mahiro will take Aika away from him, or rather he is concerned that Mahiro will be angry then leave him?

Mahiro himself, he is not known as a person who would help people but he ran to catch the ‘kidnapped’ Yoshino. Do you remember the scene when Mahiro kicked a vending machine and Yoshino refused to drink because it wasn’t paid? In later episodes Mahiro was seen to buy a drink from a vending machine and this proves how Yoshino has affected him.
