Afterthoughts: Wow, this was an amazing episode. It only took 244 episodes, but One Piece finally has a good villain! The whole scene with Lucci explaining everything and figuring out who has the blueprints was awesome.

He was good by One Piece standards… but overall as a villain he's pretty average at best.

Lucci is definitely one of One Piece's greatest villains IMO. But you can expect more good villains like so in the future.

I'm glad you're liking this arc. Just as a friendly reminder when watching One Piece is to have an open mind. The story can be absurd and ridiculous but at the end of the day it's about pirates looking for adventure.

Oh my god, with this whole scene, Lucci has become my favourite One Piece villain.

Well, that's sorta just how it is in One Piece. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are already pretty much like that. Even if Luffy had no Devil Fruit and Zoro didn't use swords, they'd all be monsters.
