Strangely, although the Code had banned sex, violence and horror from the comics landscape, no reference whatsoever was made to any form of corporal imagery. Presumably this was because the spanking of children (and adult females) was perfectly acceptable to the Code’s architects.

I’m back with another spanking post – and this one I kind of found interesting. Spanking in comics is actually a rather fascinating phenomena. Why? Because, once upon a time, it was all over the freaking place! The number of times you find a good spank in a comic book is something approaching infinity. There are whole blogs, forums and pages completely devoted to the comic spank. Wow!

It is almost Sunday morning less than 30 minutes to go. I am going to display some adult comics with spanking; unfortunately the comics that I remember the best are no longer acceptable. I am talking about various characters that seemed to be spanked with some regularity. Dot and Richie Rich come to mind but are no longer appropriate. So with some regret I will post some comic book spanking that will satisfy the PC police.

I haven’t looked for comics of this nature but I have a few samples and these comic books cover all kinds of sexuality. Here and there you will come across a spanking scene or two like these.

I did not realise then that the golden age had passed and that gender politics had reared its boring but necessary head even in comics so I missed out on many great scenes. It was remiss of me to favour Marvel over DC as the latter was much slower in embracing political correctness and even in my day spankings seem to have been more frequent in these comics.

Looking back what surprises me (or would have in those days) is the amount of romance magazines aimed at girls that included spanking. Some of the pictures I have discovered are probably from adult BD comics from the continent and would not have been available to me until much later anyway.
