Using the sketch book in the dead man’s possession, the Detective Boys are able to locate the house that match the pictures in the sketch book. The four of them traces the sketch trail to a house owned by a woman named Kimie Hayase, who had ordered a cleaning company to clean her entire house. The lady gives the Detective Boys some lemonade while Conan notices that the placement of the funitures in the living room is different from the sketch. The group notice a picture of Kimie’s former husband who shares the exact features with the man who was murdered. However, Kimie denies their claim, as her husband had already perished a year ago.
Because the deceased Tatsuo has no family left other than his wife, the police ask Kimie to identify the man’s body. While agreeing that the man greatly resembles her late husband, she claims that the two are different people. Kimie then criticizes Detective Takagi for smoking his the interrogation room before continues that she loathes her husband for the crime he committed, resulted in her being condemned by the society, and in the attempt to forget him she threw away all of his possessions. Conan, believing that the deceased man is truly Tatsuo, visits the house again to find concrete evidence. Noticing the expensive painting that Kimie had just bought from the Art Gallery, Conan figures out the truth and call everyone to the place as he explains them through the stunned Kogoro.
Even though I am taking a break from the Detective Conan (Case Closed) anime, I do not think that it would be that great to start off the fourth season set coverage with episodes that FUNimation released prior to the season sets. Because that is how FUNimation’s fourth season starts, I have decided to temporarily put my break on hold.
Considering that the case was interesting, this was definitely worth watching. I recommend this to fan of detective, mystery, and crme fiction. As for Detective Conan (Case Closed), I only recommend watching this on the
Besides this, Junichi Lioka works as a story editor of this series. The anime television series continues from 1996 and till now it’s continuing with great success. This is the 29th season where the franchise released 79 episodes and the 80th is going to release very soon.
Case Closed season 29 episode 80 will release very soon. Till now the franchise has not disclosed any particular release date of this episode. But it may release within the upcoming week.
I am not sure about this one. The case was setup was somewhat setup well. Also, there was not a whole lot that was obvious, except for the fact that robbery was not the motive. After all, nobody can really gain anything from killing a homeless person, especially with what the guy had on him. If somebody really wanted a sketchbook and art supplies that bad, they could just buy one, like Jimmy made note of in this case. Then again, people do sometimes kill others over the most ridiculous things. There were also some funny parts in this case. The thing that I think was the funniest though was it seemed that Meguire was in sync with Jimmy’s thoughts. No, he did not suddenly improve his thinking skills to the level of Jimmy, or even Sherlock or Hercule Poirot, but it was more like not noticing the truth within the obvious. When the police arrived to do their usual investigation of the scene, Jimmy thinks through everything and says that the man was victim of a common robbery. Almost if on cue, Meguire then said, “let’s assume this man was a victim of a common robbery.” If only he had Jimmy’s kind of intelligence, he would actually be capturing criminals quickly. Unfortunately, Meguire cannot be that smart because the police in detective, mystery, and crime fiction stories are much less competent than the police in real life. Another funny scene that comes to my mind is at the end. When the case gets resolved, Rachel said that she should hire Richard for her problem, which is finding Jimmy. This was funny, because the audience knows that he is right there by her, as the boy she calls Conan. Since she has known Jimmy since childhood, she should to figure it out on her own, but that she does not notice it right now makes it pretty funny. Other than that than, nothing else really comes to my mind that I liked. The fact that there were two scenes that were funny does make this fairly enjoyable.
Despite the good present, the fact that FUNimation’s script said that victim was farsighted made this something only worth watching to kill time. I recommend that everyone, including fans of Detective Conan (Case Closed), to watch the Japanese version instead, because FUNimation did not seem to know what the difference between nearsightedness and farsightedness was.
