Atlus’ policies regarding Persona 5 and streaming/sharing are so brazenly stupid and nonsensical, it’s astonishing. Almost fascinating even.

Atlus published multiple guidelines for players wishing to share Persona 5 The Royal content.

There is less than a week before we can get our hands on Persona 5 (which releases April 4th) and reviews have been really positive so far. However if you’re planning on streaming or taking screenshots using the PS4’s native Share Feature, you might want to invest in a capture card.

Atlus loosens its grip on Persona 5 streaming.

If you own Persona 5, you’ll know that there are a lot of restrictions when it comes to streaming the game. Well it appears Square Enix is not a fan of this method.

This is the opposite approach that Atlus is taking with Persona 5. In Persona 5, the PS4’s Share button is disabled and streamers are not allowed to post footage of the latter half of the game or else they risk penalties on their channels.
