The upcoming anime adaptation of Yuki Tabata’s fantasy manga Black Clover is coming to Crunchyroll this October.

Studio Pierrot, the studio behind Naruto, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho and several other wildly popular anime, is animating the Black Clover TV series, which is being produced by TV Tokyo.

Black Clover tells the story of two orphan boys named Asta and Yuno, who both dream of being the Wizard King. While they live in a world where everyone has magical powers, Asta doesn’t appear to have any magical gifts of his own. Meanwhile, Yuno possesses incredible magical abilities. When the two turn fifteen, they receive magical books that amplify their magic, and Asta is given a Grimoire of Anti-Magic that cancels out and repels the spells of his foe.
