Hm, I must be the only person who actually enjoys info dumps. I didn’t find the constant terminology explanations awful. Maybe it’s because I’m not familiar with MMOs but I found it really useful. What I loved about Log Horizon is that I believed these people were trapped in a game, and instead of constantly thinking that if they die they die in real life, they decide to take a bad situation and make it positive. They try and create their own society, a way to start over, and I just found that riveting. I’m not sure if you’ve watched S2, but the ending did tease that they’d be going farther than they’ve gone before. Just because they’re in a part of Japan doesn’t mean they won’t someday explore the world.

Log Horizon is one of my favorite anime for its ideas, mostly in mechanical details and political maneuvers. But it really should’ve been a radio drama or something lmao, on rewatch I found it pretty slow, so I just turned it on dub while playing games.

Log Horizon carries an excellent storyline that shows the wits and strategy that goes into tactical battles. As an MMORPG based anime, it succeeds in maintaining the balance between having an engaging story and great fight scenes.

The Log Horizon franchise began online by Mamare Touno and Kazuhiro Hara a decade ago, back in 2010. The duo published their first light novel in 2011 and has progressed the story since then.

Season one of Log Horizon launched in October 2013, followed by the second season in October 2014.

Log Horizon is one of the much awaited anime coming out this season. The last season of Log Horizon ended in 2015 and fans have been waiting for the next season ever since. Then in 2020 it was finally made official that Log Horizon Season 3 will be coming out in January 2021.
