Oh, yeah. I actually almost forgot about this: "Enmusubi no Youko-chan", which MyAnimeList hasn't approved yet because of reasons of which MyAnimeList has already deleted the entry because of reasons (probably because the Chinese version is already in the database). The Anime, as you might now, is actually a Japanese dubbed version of the ONA…

A humble, but mostly less than half-assed, blog of a pessimistic Otaku that was saved by Anime first, Manga then, just to be saved once again by Light Novels and Visual Novels; and thus wishes to share the beautiful world that is 2D. Yet, you will find mostly rants.

Your average and pessimistic otaku who was saved by Anime first, then Manga, to only be saved once again by Light Novels and Visual Novels. Thus tries to spread their worlds, without much success though: there are mostly rants about Reality getting in the way to access the AMLNVN World. Oh well. Screw it.

I’m most of the time dead tired, not to mention I’ve discovered I’m more of a “watcher” than a “creator”. Thus do not expect too much activity.

I do try my best to be of help to the Otaku community though, but as a lowly leecher who doesn’t know the Superior (Japanese) language (nor Chinese nor Korean), I can only share things Translators-sama’s godly works.

Usually I’m not a fan of China made anime, but I really like this one.. I like the bonding between the characters.. the concept of Yokai and Human to love each other.. and the part where they get to be with each other and will get reincarnated after they die and then the couple meet with each other.. Also some villains trying to create issues.. Haha I’m not good with summary writing because when I try to write a summary of an anime I give up few spoilers.. But anyway who else is watching Enmusubi no Youko-chan

This is tricky to explain. The Japanese episode’s length is double the Chinese episode’s, so usually a Japanese episode = 2 Chinese episodes–with some omitted scenes and song changes. The Japanese version only covers up to 4 seasons of the original Chinese version and is marked complete. Meanwhile, the sixth season is now airing in China, so yes, this is still on-going.

Yeah, I think you should, especially for the 2nd and 3rd season! Oh, and the last episode of the 4th season, as well! The BGM changes will definitely feel new to you, and I think you’d grow to love the Chinese version more. I didn’t really watch the full Japanese episodes after around their 7th or 8th episodes, so I can’t really describe which scenes are omitted. They should be minor scenes or even dialogues, but I believe it is a significant change XD
