Mob psycho 100 ep 1vf

Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 Shares First Promotional Video, Release Date, Spoilers. Check here to know more about this new season.

Kageyama Shigeo, otherwise known as Mob, is a young psychic with the ability to lift objects with his mind. Despite having this incredible power, he just wants to become friends with Tsubomi, a girl in his class. Due to negative reactions to his psychic abilities in the past, he now tries to keep them in check.

Made by the same author as One Punch Man and likely getting a boost from that fame, Mob Psycho 100 came into its own fame by having solid action and a lovable main character that doesn’t fall into the same main character tropes. If you are looking for similar anime recommendations to Mob Psycho 100, then look no further.

In their own ways, both shows are allegories about growing up. However, while Mob Psycho delivers up its allegory in a straightforward way, FLCL leaves pretty much everything to your interpretation. While Mob Psycho can get a little strange sometimes, it doesn’t share the sheer insanity of FLCL.

Due to the attitude and psychic nature of the main characters, these shows come off as incredibly similar. Both main characters have psychic abilities and are very powerful, but they don’t want to show them off. However, while Mob Psycho is an action show, Saiki K is a comedy.

The premise, with varying degrees of stress, in both shows is that having psychic powers is more trouble than they are worth. The powers have caused both main characters problems, but Kotoura has its dark tones while Mob Psycho is a little lighter. Furthermore, if you liked Mob Psycho for the action, Kotoura is more of a romantic comedy, slice of life show.

After a small portion of humanity suddenly developed psychokinetic powers, the world underwent a rapid transformation. After 1,000 years of turbulent history where regular humans struggled against those with powers, we focus in on Kamisu 66, a small town where 12-year-old Saki Watanabe finally awakened her powers. This awakening means she is finally able to join her friends at the Sage Academy. However, things in Saki’s life do not remain as simple as those precious days. With missing children in the village, rebellious rumblings, and a world steeped in myth and mystery, Saki and her friends are about to face the shocking truths of their peaceful society.

Although these shows are highly different in their settings, they share the similarity of troubled teens with gifted psychic powers. While From the New World is darker, compared to Mob Psycho’s more uplifting plot, they do share unique animation styles that are the perfect accent to psychic powers.

In Kill la Kill, they take every single thing and do it in an over the top way. While Mob Psycho isn’t always as such, when it comes to action, they do go over the top. However, the biggest similarity here is not just the octane of the action, but the fluid and unique animation in which it is carried out in both.

Ah, Ping Pong is renowned for its unique animation and Mob Psycho’s style falls into the same vein. Both look amazing when it comes to the action, although Ping Pong takes what should be a boring story and makes it entertaining. It is also worth noting the protagonists in both sport the bowl cut.

Obviously Devilman and Mob Psycho share a supernatural theme and delve into varying levels of horror. However, aside from that, these two series share a common appreciation for art styles that are out of the box. They aren’t afraid to warp bodies and use unique style effects in their action as well as using varying quality of animation to stress important parts.
