The American streaming giant Funimation declared on Tuesday that it will start streaming the English dubbed version of Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, the second season anime of Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki's worldwide famous Dr. Stone manga, on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. EST.

As we cannot give you a release date for the subbed version of episode 25, we cannot say when its English dub will air. Based on the release dates of the dubbed versions of Season One episodes on Funimation, however, we can say that there could well be a gap of around two weeks between subbed and dubbed release dates again.

Dr. Stone Season 2 anime debuted on January 14 on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and TV Aichi, and likewise streams on the web.

Crunchyroll streamed the anime’s first season as it aired, and also Funimation streamed the anime’s dubbed version.

Considering the upcoming projects of TMS Entertainment, if the third season is already in production, the third season of Dr Stone will premiere in the fall of 2021, otherwise, it will premiere in winter (January) / spring 2022 (April).

The manga has been in progress since 2017, and there are no signs that it is going to decline anytime soon. In an interview with Anime News Network, writer Riichiro Inagaki talked about season 3, “As for the ending of the entire series as a whole, I’m not sure, it’s not necessarily about the story.
