In the course of revealing the mystery behind this phenomenon, Sakuta begins to explore his feelings towards Mai. Yuichi is a teenage boy who was diagnosed with hepatitis; and as staying at the hospital is boring, he often sneaks out at night to hang out with his friends. However, each time he is caught by the slightly sadistic nurse Akiko, he just prolongs his stay at the hospital. After his most recent escape, instead of striking a punch or kick at Yuichi, Akiko says that she’ll overlook his sneak outs if he becomes friends with 17-year-old Rika, another hospital resident. Rika doesn’t open up to him at first, but she has her reasons: she has a weak heart; and though she may come off as selfish and rude, Yuichi looks beyond the surface to help both of them enjoy what life has to offer.

Moriyama Rin was born with an incurable disease. I came to love the girl who spent her high school life hiding that fact. At our last cultural festival, we had our live concert and spent the last moments of the festival together—After that, Rin died. Then, I experienced a time leap…
You’re loved by such an honest girl, doesn’t that make you even the slightest bit happy!? That such a flirty Kouhai would follow you around all the time!? Futahara Touka, a childhood friend’s younger sister, and a self proclaimed annoying little devil-type kouhai who enrolled in the same highschool. Apparently, she’s also a "Self-proclaimed Senpai-worshipping beauty". And that beautiful little devil kouhai yet again came to pick me up early in the morning. "Senpai! Let’s hold hands! Warm me up!" Only I, however, know that she’s actually the naive, shy type that blushes just from holding hands, and gets extremely flustered inside while teasing me.. The show she puts on as the little-devil-character is just an act in order to get closer to me. And that she doesn’t like me– yet.
I am shocked that this movie is such a high rank I really liked the series but this movie just boggles my mind. SPOILER TIME with the time traveling girl trying to paradox her way into death this movie seemed like it was on a strange but straight path to the finale…… then mai dies?….. yeah I almost stopped watching before I realized it’s only the halfway point. The our main character fuckin does some shit I don’t understand and lands in the past? His past? A past for a different him? WHO KNOWS?! And then it seems like the girl dies (maybe I missed something) but no she is alive tada he got the extra good ending yay! But how? It doesn’t make sense this. The series was fine mental stress turning into physical pain/ reactions was interesting and enjoyable concept, but this movie makes no sense and the amount of times in had to read puberty syndrome makes me wanna cringe hits hearing it they could’ve had a better name. But this movie had what could’ve been a straight line to the end but it decided let’s waste 30 minutes and soap opera it up and then they did and it’s just….. ridiculous. if you wanna watch a time travel style anime watch erased it’s better than this in every way
